dc.description.abstract At the present time, with the great technological development that we are witnessing, it has become necessary to combine technology in daily life in modern societies, as technological developments advance daily and intervene in all areas of life. This thesis presents a smart greenhouse project designed for semi-arid areas with remote control capabilities, in the context of smart agriculture. This thesis aims to benefit from the technologies of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Arduino by designing an integrated, automatic system that controls climatic conditions inside the greenhouse, to facilitate agriculture, provide the ideal environment, and develop sustainable development. The goal of this project is to design and build a functional a smart greenhouse adapted to semi-arid regions. This prototype serves as a foundation for a potential future product that could be commercialized to support sustainable agriculture, with the long-term goal of launching a startup that offers smart farming solutions.to reduce excessive water consumption, maintain plant humidity, and increase yields, thus reducing the manual workload of farmers. Smart greenhouses offer an effective solution for farmers and individuals seeking to increase crop yields and reduce manual labor. These automated systems enable users to monitor and control climate factors remotely, promoting food security and more efficient resource use. This is made possible through the integration of advanced technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT). EN_en
