Integrated pest management is a pest management system that integrates different techniques
to maintain pest levels below damage (out of harm's way) using natural environmental factors.
Our study aims to determine, clarify and identify these management and defense practices
against pests and all threats through a survey in several stations in the Ghardaïa region (Daïa
Ben Dahoua, Netissa and El-Afteuf) by practicing the questionnaire approach with farmers, and
aiming for the objective of The use of means other than chemical as a priority in order to reveal
the state and level of agricultural and ecological awareness in our region. We discovered that
farmers use different methods (soil plowing, trap cultivation, crop rotation), but by favoring the
chemical method its direct action on the crop enemy...The region of Ghardaïa has a diversity of
wealth and knowledge agricultural (market gardening, arboriculture, oasis system, etc.), assets
which open up horizons in the field of research, innovation and development in the field of
agro-ecology, particularly the preservation of crops. |
