dc.description.abstract Fossil fuels, known as unsustainable energy sources, are being depleted due to rising fuel demands. Microalgae offer promise as renewable fuel sources due to their fast growth, ability to store lipids and carbohydrates for biofuel production, and the potential for cultivation in various systems using nutrients and CO2 from sources like fossil fuel emissions. Researchers are exploring CO2 capture through photosynthesis by microalgae to convert carbon into valuable products, reducing emissions and creating economic value. In the cultivation of microalgae, the efficiency of CO2 transfer from the gas phase to the liquid culture medium is a critical factor. During our work we used MATLAB to develop mathematical structures and create computer codes to simulate these processes. The present study researches the microalgal strains Chlorella vulgaris to capture CO2, with 0.03 % (CO2 concentration in air), and 2 % CO2 supply. The concentration of CO2 Transferred inside the medium was (6.88 Mol/L). The gas-liquid mass transfer coefficient kLa correspond to (0.015 Mol/L). the quantities of CO2 fixed by Chlorella vulgaris in this case (1.05Mol/L). EN_en
