dc.description.abstract In this research, our aim is to identify the specific system for instantaneous multidisciplinary structural design from a set of available alternatives, by applying the work to the creation of multiple shapes. This is achieved to optimise between the geometric requirements the different quotations. We studied a Steel structure hangar located in the industrial zone (Naftal) in Ghardaia and we studied reinforced concrete to find out which is better in all aspects. This hangar is usually used for multiple purposes such as storage, maintenance, which requires a careful structural study to ensure sustainability, efficiency, and meeting functional requirements the main part of the study focuses on applying MCDM methodology to select the best structural system for the hangar. Data was collected from multiple sources including interviews with construction experts, cost analysis, and previous case studies. After applying the decision-making tools, the structural system that achieves the best balance of criteria was identified. EN_en
