This research sheds light on a side of Sheikh Bay’s Belaalem interest in linguistic
interpretation by explaining the millennium of “Gharib al-Qur’an” to al-Zajlawi in
his book: “Dhiaa al- Maal’im” Explanation on the Millennium “of al-Gharib” by
Ibn al-Alam, and it is perceptibly revealed within his interests on the origin of the
word’s Arabic usage, besides its syntactic issues of the words or terms in case of
used alone or compound. Furthermore, his deal to some of the explanations of
grammatical and guidance syntactic, employing poetic evidence serving
interpretation, relying in this whole novel upon The Prophet (peace be upon him)
and the companions and followers in the first place, then on the sayings of the
scholars of language and its researchers. Thus, his method is well-known by
combining the principles of the science of exegesis and the grammar of the Arabic
