Abstract:
This study aimed to know the nature of teachers’ attitudes towards the
academic achievement assessment exams for the fifth year of primary education,
in the municipality of Hassi El Qara, Mania Province, according to the variable
years of teaching and the level of the teacher. To achieve the objectives of the
study and collect data, the student prepared a questionnaire about the teachers’
attitudes towards the academic achievement assessment exam, and after
verifying the the validity and reliability of the tool was applied to a sample of
primary education teachers consisting of (74) teachers. The student relied on the
descriptive approach.
After analyzing the data using (spss20), the study concluded the following:
- The attitudes of primary education teachers towards examinations to evaluate
achievements are positive
- There are no statistically significant differences in professors’ attitudes
toward exams to evaluate achievements due to the variable years of teaching.
- There are statistically significant differences in professors’ attitudes toward
exams to evaluate acquisitions due to the variable of teacher level, fifth/other
years.
