dc.description.abstract In order to popularize and promote the culture of Moringa as feed and fertilizer the soil, work has been initiated to evaluate the potential of germination of Moringa oleifera seeds from trees planted in the area of Tamenrasset. Four treatments were control (previously untreated seeds), scarified seeds, and finally seeds soaked in water for 24h, 48h and 72h respectively. The variables measured were the time of germination and the number of sprouted grains. The results showed that the germination time are significantly défferentes; Soaking in water amiliore germination rate during the first fifteen days for the group of scarify and soak 24 hours and 48 fortunes. The germination rate did not differ for soaking treatment in water at different periods during the second fortnight of our experiment, except when comparing two groups (normal and scarified). Moringa germination time could be extended from 10 to 18 days in the Ghardaia region in May. Scarify the seeds for the first 18 days milleurs shows the germination rate. EN_en
