Abstract:
This study aims to recognize the role of social communication in raising
young people 's awareness of the importance of vocational training through
social networking sites , based on the question : how social networking
sites contribute as one of the social communication means of
vocational training center bongar ben ali .ghardaia. raise young people
's awareness of the importance of vocational training ?
This study is included in descriptive studies , based on the social survey
curriculum and using both observation , interview and questionnaire as data
collection tools.
This study was applied to a random sample of young people at the
bongar ben ali vocational training centre , capable of 100 individuals . The
study reached a number of results , the most important of which were :
*The habits and patterns of use of the sample for the social networking
sites of the vocational training center in question are that they sometimes
use them and use a mobile phone .The most used of these sites is
facebook , so that they use them at a rate of one hour to two hours a
day in the evening and at home ,and they used them before joining the
vocational training center.
*Access to news and information on vocational training is the most
important motivation for the use of the social networking sites of the
center for vocational training in question . Addressing the topics in detail
, depth and viewing images contributes to attracting them to pursue
these websites , in order to satisfy their educational and news desires.
*The members of the sample believe that social networking sites play a
role in raising their awareness of the importance of vocational training
as a means of communication by asserting that it is an essential source
of information about their studies in vocational training , as well as a
tool to mantain students contact with field education institutions , as
well as its awareness – raising role contributing to the formation of
their attitudes and behaviors by changing their perception of many
matters related to vocational training
