This study aims to investigate the impact of family neglect on students' academic failure among their children, using a comprehensive survey technique with 40 students from Al-Shaheed Alan Ibrahim Intermediate School in Al-Munayea across different grade levels. This study was conducted to identify the primary reasons leading to student academic failure through a sociological interpretation of data collected by the researchers within the institution. By gathering and analyzing data based on the questionnaire provided to the participants, we found results indicating that family problems and cultural capital issues among parents contribute to students failing. We also aimed to provide solutions and recommendations to mitigate this phenomenon. After the field study, we concluded that family disputes are related to students' academic failure, along with a lack of family discussions and dialogue, which can lead to psychological burdens, in addition to the challenges posed by the educational curriculum that hinder students' comprehension and learning.
