dc.description.abstract The Western part of Oued Noumer region (our study object) is used as a spill way of the sewage treated by the sewage treatment plant of Kaf Dokhan (El Atteuf Ghardaia). This water percolates in the ground, and we have no idea about its effect on the soil and on the underground water that exist in the area In order to get a clear about the impact of this used water on the ground, we have; on one hand, done a random sampling from the superficial horizon to the deepest possible horizon ( Ranging 1.20m), and on the other hand, have carried out the various analysis on the sample brought back to the laboratory such as the total limestone, electrical conductivity, pH, organic matter and chemical-weight analysis (Bouycos method). the physico-chemical analysis of the soil indicate a medium alkaline pH, a slightly salty to completely salty electrical conductivity, a low organic matter and a low to medium levels of total limestone and sometimes strong As a result the physical and chemical quality of the soil of Oued Noumer is strongly affected by the land and water pollution that is in the region.
