This study focused on the bio-ecology of Orthoptera in two stations in N'tissa region
(Municipality of Bounoura Wilaya of Ghardaïa) belonging to the Saharian bioclimatic
stage with temperate winter. The readings are made during five months from August to
December, 2015. The orthopteric inventory and floristic surveys were conducted with
linear systematic, revealing the presence of nine teen species of Caelif ères, are divided into
three families among which Acrididae family is the most represented both in number of
species and in number of individuals and nine subfamilies, and 19 plants species in the
same study area. The study of the diet of both chosen species: Acrotylus patreulis
(Henrich-Schaeffer, 1838) and Pyrgomorpha conica (Olivier, 1791) shows that of all
plant species in the two stations, Acrotylus patreulis has a clear preference for 07 plants
species. Pyrgomorpha conica consumes 10 botanical spec ies at both stations. The
Pyrgomorpha conica species has trophic rang e slightly wider than Acrotylus patreulis. |
