Abstract:
To contribute in the valorisation of medicinal plants which are famous by its therapeutic
virtues. We have made a research about microbiological activity of the essential oils and Hydrosol
from the aerial parts of plants Pituranthos chloranthus and Ruta chalpansis, summer plants
subjected to an extraction by steam distillation to the hydrodistilateur. Depending on the technique
used the extraction yield is variable, it is 0.25 % and 0.07% for the essential oils of chloranthus
Pituranthos and Ruta chalpansis respectively.
The antimicrobial activity was evaluated on four bacterial strains: Escherichia coli,
Enterobacter cloacae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus. the obtained results
shows that the :
The hydrosol of chloranthus Pituranthos plant and Ruta chalpansis presents an interesting
antibacterial effect mainly against Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Enterobacter
cloacae. While this hydrosol proved inactive against Staphylococcus aureus
