Abstract:
The aim of our work is to compare the floristic distribution and soil salinization between
the two horizons (2006 and 2016) in the basin of Ouargla.
The results show that there is no remarkable change in soil salinity between 2006 and 2016 in our
stations.tel Mekhadma that the station has a very moist, neutral to alkaline, gypsum as we noted excessive
increase in calcium levels, otherwise the ground stations and other AinElbaida Hassi Ben Abdallah, have
a non moist little salty, alkaline, moderately poor limestone and gypsum.
The floristic study shows that, at the Mekhadma station, a disappearance of the species
Frankenia thymifolia and the appearance of new species such as, Tamarix gallica, Salicornia fructicosa
and Zygophyllum allbum with a very high density, and for Ain ElBeida stations and Hassi Ben Abdallah,
a disappearance of half of the number of species probably due to climate and anthropogenic condition.
