الخلاصة:
This work focuses on the study of improving the ability to seed germination of two species of
the Sahara( Zizyphus lotus et Argania spinosa ). The study deals with the testing of seed
treatments by physical processes (hot water), chemical (acid) and a third phytochemical
(extract vegetal of d’Euphorbia guyoniana) in natural conditions of the Ghardaia region. The
results after 3 months of experimentation highlight that the average time of germination and
the germination rate varies depending on the treatment method adopted and the other species.
In seeds treated by the physical process, the average germination rate is 17% for Zizyphus
lotus L and 2% Clean Argania spinosa L, for the chemical process a germination rate of 10%
and 8% respectively 20 % and 7 % in the phyto-chemical processes. While in control level
(without treatment) observed the germination rate is about 0%.
As forthe action of thesetreatmentson the germinationmedium, average time
ofgerminationtypically rangebetween31a72days.
