Abstract:
The introduction of the cultures under pivot in arid regions, induced modifications on the
soil and has natural vegetation. After setting in fallow or abandonment of these pieces, a new flora settles.
Our work resides at the impact study of the system of the cultivation of cereals under pivot on the
composition and the dynamics of the floristic species after the setting in fallow. For that, we retained 3
pivots at various ages of abandonment: 01 year, 04 years and ground not cultivated on the level of the
exploitation of Ben Hamouda in the area of Hassi El Fehal in Ghardaïa. The statements carried out during
has period of sampling in 2013, allowed to inventory 25 species distributed out of 16 botanical families
among the which prevalent family of Asteraceae gathers 27,27% of studied flora. The analysis of the
results obtained has arise the prevalence of the first station, with 17 species posts farming, while the two
other stations account for 11 species posts farming for each one. Moreover, the recently abandoned station
represents a great floristic diversity by report ratio the two other stations which reflects a weak variation of
the floristic component, it is probably related on the age of abandonment and the édapho-climatic
conditions.
