Les valeurs symboliques de la mer, une étude psycocritique dans Au commencement était la mer… de Maissa Bey

Abstract

Dans notre modeste travail, nous avons étudié l’espace selon plusieurs théoriciens, ils ont dit que l’espace ne s’agit pas d’un simple décor mais un élément qui a un impact sur la psychologie du personnages et qui a des fonctions et plusieurs significations et à l’aide de cette étude nous avons présenté les valeurs symboliques de la mer dans Au commencement était la mer… de Maissa Bey, cette dernière a choisi des significations précises de la mer pour les transmettre à travers l’histoire du personnage féminin Nadia qui vit dans une société colonisée et une société patriarcale. Cette fille a vécu beaucoup des problèmes surtout avec sa famille incompréhensive alors elle a choisi cet espace marin pour s’éloigner de cette réalité. Selon Maissa bey, la mer n’est pas un simple espace aquatique mais un espace qui porte des valeurs profondes. Keywords: symbolic values; space sea; personality; psychology. ملخص في عملنا المتواضع، درسنا الفضاء وفقا لعديد من المنظرين وحسب دراستهم فإن الفضاء ليس مجرد زخرفة ولكن عنصر أساسي في الرواية بحيث له تأثير على نفسية الشخصية وله عدة وظائف ومعاني. واستنادا إلى هذه الدراسة، تطرقنا إلى دراسة القيم الرمزية للبحر في رواية في البداية كان البحر...للكاتبة ميساء باي، هذه الأخيرة اختارت معاني معينة للبحر وأرادت إيصالها لقرائها عبر قصة الشخصية الأنثوية نادية التي تعيش في مجتمع مستعمر ومجتمع ذكوري، هذه الفتاة مرت بالكثير من المشاكل خاصة مع عائلتها ولذلك اختارت هذه المساحة البحرية للابتعاد عن واقعها الأليم. وفقا لميساء باي فإن البحر ليس مجرد مساحة مائية ولكنه مساحة تحمل عدة قيم عميقة.
