Our study aims to highlight the role of information technology in achieving outstanding performance, through the contribution of information technology in summarizing the digital data of any organization and helping it to discover errors and correct them by using specific software and networks, as well as working to update, develop and improve the performance of institutions.
In our study, we relied on the descriptive approach in building the theoretical framework and case study in the practical side, and we also relied on the questionnaire that included questions related to the study variables, and 60 individuals were selected to whom a questionnaire was distributed as a tool for data collection, so that the study was conducted on a sample that included the staff of professors at the University of Ghardaia In the analysis, we relied on the data of the questionnaires on the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (Spss) and the electronic spreadsheet program (Excel). Finally, our study concluded with a set of results, the most important of which is the existence of an impact relationship and a role for information technology, which is reflected in the optimal use of its various components in achieving the dimensions of outstanding performance and their impact on educational results, focusing on the customer, as well as focusing on human resources results, leadership, governance, and even budget results, financial and market results.
The study recommended the need for the institution under study to pay attention to its financial and human resources and the need for interest and development for the skills of workers, including professors and administrative staff, and an interest in measuring and evaluating performance to achieve the desired results
