The current study aims to find out whether a woman with Hypertension
suffers from Emotional Reticence, by knowing the differences in the degrees of
Emotional Reticence among women with Hypertension according to the
variables of age and work.
In order to verify the hypotheses of the study and to know the nature of the
relationship and the differences, we adopted the descriptive approach and relied
on the Toronto Emotional Scale TAS20 by (Bagby, Parker & Taylor, 1994),
which was translated by Professor Zaatout Ramadan and its psychometric
properties were verified on the local environment, as it was formed The study
sample consisted of 30 cases with Hypertension, their age ranged between 25-
45 years, who were selected intentionally.
After analyzing the results and discussing the hypotheses, we reached the
following conclusions :
- A woman with Hypertension suffers from a moderate level of Emotional
Reticence.
- There are statistically significant differences in the degree of Emotional
Reticence among woman with Hypertension, according to the age variable.
- There are statistically significant differences in the degree of emotional
reticence among woman with Hypertension, depending on the work variable or
not. |
