The study aimed to reveal the relationship between quality of life and self-
efficacy in patients with chronic renal failure by answering the following
question:
-Is there a relationship between quality of life and self-efficacy in patients
with chronic renal failure?
-from this bramch the following sub-questions:
-What is the quality of life for patients with chronic renal failure?
-What is the level of self-efficacy in patients with chronic renal failure?
-In order to answer these questions, a field study was conducted at the
Hemodialysis Department for patients with chronic renal failure at the
Public Institution for Neighborhood Health in Brian during the period from
02/01/2022 to 30/03/2022 on a sample of 50 individuals of both sexes. The
study relied on the following tools:
-Conducting statistical data processing based on spss v25 program.
- Quality of life measure based on the Koreit 2019 study, which includes 23
items.
-Self-efficacy scale based on Najjar 2014 study, which includes 36 items.
We have used statistical methods appropriate to the nature of the
questions and hypotheses, and the study resulted in the following results:
-There is a statistically significant correlation between quality of life and
self-efficacy in patients with chronic renal failure.
-The level of quality of life in patients with chronic renal failure is low.
-The level of self-efficacy in patients with chronic renal failure is low. |
