Pour une étude sociocritique du personnage de l’instituteur dans « la cité des roses » de MOULOUD FERAOUN

Abstract

Au cours des années sombre de la colonisation française en Algérie, plusieurs écrivains Algériens ont choisi le combat pacifique contre le colonisateur par le biais de leurs plumes, pour défendre la cause nationale, qui consiste à raconter la souffrance d’un peuple sous l’autorité d’un colonisateur barbare. L’auteur de « La Cité des Roses », Mouloud Feraoun, fait partie de ces écrivains qui ont consacré leurs écrits en langue française, justement, pour revendiquer de leur manière, l’indépendance de l’Algérie. Notre étude vise a analysé l'aspect social du personnage de l’instituteur, à travers le roman autofictionnelle de Mouloud Feraoun « La Cité des Roses », où ce personnage central de l’intrigue vit une histoire d’amour avec une institutrice française pendant la période coloniale en Algérie. Cette histoire d’amour des deux personnages principaux est qualifiés interdite, ils sont tous deux mariés et appartiennent visiblement aux deux camps ennemis. ABSTRACT During the dark years of French colonization in Algeria, several Algerian writers chose the peaceful struggle against the colonizer through their feathers, to defend the national cause, which is to tell the suffering of a people under the authority of a barbarian colonizer. The author of "The City of Roses", Mouloud Feraoun, is one of those writers who have devoted their writings in French, precisely, to claim in their own way, the independence of Algeria. Our study aims to analyze the social aspect of the character of the teacher, through the autofictional novel Mouloud Feraoun "The City of Roses", where this central character of the plot lives a love affair with a French teacher during the colonial period in Algeria. This love story of the two main characters is described as prohibited; they are both married and obviously belong to both enemy camps.
