dc.description.abstract In this dissertation, we introduce one of the best techniques and helpful tools which is used in the teaching method and learning foreign languages which are video techniques. A lot of teachers have considered it as a beneficial aid teaching ESL/ EFL. This study aims to explore the effects of video-based techniques or the learner’s speaking skill and communicating abilities. This work is focused on the best use of the video techniques to improve the learner’s oral skills. Throughout this study, we put attention to show the effectiveness and importance of using this technique with learner’s oral skill. The main hypothesis adopted in this research work is that the use of the effective video technique can be helpful for both teachers and students to improve the oral/speaking skill. This work is focused on first year LMD student’s questionnaire to get information about the impact of developing learners speaking skill through the use of video-based techniques. Also, the analysis of results of questionnaire showed that the learners consider the videotapes as an important technique in enhancing the speaking skill and it motivates them to learn. EN_en
