Etude Sociocritique du mariage précoce dans « Safya, les souffrances de la fille de l’ogre » d’Omar HOUACHE

Abstract

Le thème de notre travail de recherche est : Une étude sociocritique du mariage précoce dans Safya, les souffrances de la fille de l’ogre d’Omar HOUACHE. Un roman qui parle de Safya, une fille algérienne du village imaginaire de Tamnayt dans l’ouest algérien pendant la guerre de la libération. Nous nous y sommes intéressées à relever les raisons socioéconomiques conduisant au mariage précoce dont la mort de la mère, la pauvreté, l’irresponsabilité du père, la méchanceté de la marâtre ; ainsi qu’aux conséquences ignobles de cette pratiques. Cette étude se base sur deux axes principaux : le mariage précoce dans le paysage social et l’analyse du corpus. Le premier axe a situé le phénomène du mariage précoce dans la littérature algérienne, dans les discours des sociologues, des psychologues et des hommes religieux. Quant au deuxième axe, il a permis d’analyser le mariage précoce dont parle l’auteur en replaçant le roman dans son univers social, appliquant ainsi l’approche sociocritique de Claude DUCHET. Abstract The thème of our research is under the title of : a social-critical study of the eary marriage in « Safya » the sufferance of the girl of the ogre by Omar HOUACHE. A novel that talks about Safya, an Algerian girl that comes from the imaginary village of Tamnayt in the Algerian west during the liberation war. We focused on revealing the social-economic reasons that led to the early marriage which were as follows : the death of the girl’s mother, poverty, an irresponsile father and the wickendess of the mother in law. In addidtion to the negative consequences of the practice. This study is based on two principal axes : the early marriage in the social context and the analysis of the corpus. In the first axe, we tried to define the phenomenon of early marriage according to the Algerian literature and to the speeches of sociologists, psychologists and religious men. While in the second axe we analysed the early marriage according to the writer through putting the novel in his social universe using the social-critical approch of Claude DUCHET.
