Abstract:
The impact of information and communication technology, a significant impact
on the system and modus operandi of local and global organizations, especially
the economic institutions, which in turn adopted the strategic vigilance system
which aims to fully access to understand all the variables of the organization's
environment and analyze its components, and monitor and track all its variables,
And relying on information as a necessary resource that must be invested in, all
this guarantees the competitive institution to exploit the available opportunities
and open up to new markets.
This study came to highlight the role of strategic vigilance in activating organi-
zational communication at the level of the Djezzy Foundation, Ghardaia Prov-
ince, It focused on the following problem: What is the contribution of strategic
vigilance to activating organizational communication at the level of the Djezzy
Foundation in the state of Ghardaia?,The study included two variables:inde-
pendent variable: strategic vigilance, and dependent variable: organizational
communication.
The current study aimed to identify and highlight the importance of strategic
vigilance, and its role in activating organizational communication within the in-
stitution emphasizing the role of strategic vigilance in raising the level of com-
petitiveness of the institution, evaluating the practice of strategic vigilance in the
Algerian economic institution.
In order to answer the problem of the study and test the validity of the hypothe-
ses, we relied on the descriptive method and the case study method, In order to
achieve the objectives of the study, we distributed a questionnaire to a sample of
employees of the Djezzy Foundation in Ghardaia, and since the number of em-
ployees in Ghardaia is not enough, an electronic questionnaire was published on
the Facebook page of Djezzy employees in Algiers, and after the theoretical and
practical study of the research topic, we reached the following results:
Strategic vigilance works to create a communication climate that helps the
organization's personnel to achieve its goals.
The institution's awareness of the need to constantly monitor the external and
internal environment of its activity and analyze its variables accurately.
The institution adopts the concept of vigilance, as it monitors all changes in
its external environment, and that the Internet is the main source for follow-
ing up on these changes.
Personal contact between employees has a significant role in raising the level
of service performance in the organization.
