dc.description.abstract We prepared this study in order to address the problem of the contribution of public relations functions and the effectiveness of the programs approved by the Sonelgaz Foundation, the Bouhraoua unit in Ghardaia. In it we dealt with a set of questions through which we tried to find answers to various questions related to the subject of the study. We also distributed 40 questionnaires addressed to the institution’s internal audience as well as its external audience. 34 questionnaires were retrieved, while 6 questionnaires were not retrieved, including the canceled ones, and we also used Observation throughout our frequency to the institution under study. In this study, we touched on the theoretical aspect of the concept of public relations, which is as old as man and which is the main pillar of the institution, and we also touched on the concept of institutional communication. As for the applied culprit, the study showed that the Sonelgaz Foundation, a unit of Bouhraoua in Ghardaia, adopts the philosophy of public relations well, from us we reached the results Several, the most important of which is that the institution under study pays great attention to the interest of communication and public relations because of its effective and significant role in the conduct of its various activities and various programs.
