dc.description.abstract Our study dealt with the issue of the consumption of information and communication technology in the time of the Corona pandemic (Covid 19) by Algerian youth, a field study on a sample of the youth of the state of Ghardaia. Information and communication technology used by the youth of Ghardaia during the Corona pandemic, as well as the habits and motives for its use. In our study, we relied on the descriptive survey method using the questionnaire tool, by designing a questionnaire consisting of a set of axes, which was published electronically in order to obtain an available sample of 400 young people from the state of Ghardaia. - In the end, we reached results, the most important of which is the large consumption of information and communication technology by the youth of the state of Ghardaia during the pandemic, where the smartphone and computer took the lead in use, and the reason for “selling and buying products” is a primary motive for the study sample in its consumption of information and communication technology during the outbreak of the Corona virus. In Algeria, the study also recorded during this period a large consumption of social networking sites, especially “chat” with very high rates among the youth of the state of Ghardaia. EN_en
