Abstract:
The caravan trade of the city of Ghadames is amajor source of trade
that existed in the Libyandesert during the 18th and 19th centuries,
whichled to the diversity of products that wereexported and
imported between libyan territories,
which indicates the multiplicity of trade, roadsand trade routes that
reflected positively theprosperity of desert trade, but the emergence
ofthe colonial movement in the region in the early19th century
prevented this, which was the
reason for the demise of this traditional tradethrough agreements
and treaties and thededication of companies Monopoly has had
anegative impact on Ghadames and other
commercial centers.
