Study summary in English:
This Study aims at revealing the extent to which the perceived parental
treatment methods contributed to the appearance of Alexithymia, as well as
revealing the way it appears and the level of Alexithymia in women with
psychosomatic disorder.
The Study contains two questions:
1- How Alexithymia appears in women with psychosomatic disorder?
2- How perceiving the parental treatment methods contribute to the
appearance of Alexithymia in women with psychosomatic disorder?
The answers to the study questions was as follows:
1-We believe that operational thinking and difficulty in describing and
distinguishing emotions lead to an immense suffering from Alexithymia for
women with psychosomatic disorder.
2-We believe that the perceived negative manners of the parental treatments lead
to a relational and emotional disorders, along with defects in emotional
recognition, which contributes to the appearance of Alexithymia in women with
psychosomatic disorder.
Aiming at verifying the hypotheses of the Study, two approaches have been
followed, a descriptive approache of the role of the perception of the parental
treatment, and clarifying its relation to Alexithymia and its sufferance, and a
clinical approache for a profound study in order to understand the way the
perceived parental methods follow to develop an Alexithymia which is done by
the use of the following tools:
Semi-oriented interview as a tool to understand the psychological process
of the case the and Cornell Index test to investigate the psychosomatic
symptoms, AMBU test of the perceived parental treatment methods and
Toronto Alexithymia Scale TAS20.
The study includes three women with psychosomatic disorder from Beni
Ïsguen-Ghardaia state, which were chosen purposely, and after a field
study, the results were as follows:
1- We turned out that Alexithymia appears heavily throught the
operational thinking and difficulty describing and distinguishing
emotions on the cases studied.
2- It turned out that the perceived negative manners of the parental
treatment methods which cause relational disorders and defects in
emotional recognition contribute to the appearance of Alexithymia in
the case study.
These results were interpreted under based on precedent studies and
theories. |
