This work is an investigation into the diseases and pests affecting pomegranates in the Menia region. It includes fieldwork involving the collection of samples from local farms and their laboratory analysis to identify the causal agents of the diseases and pests. The presence of major diseases, such as rot, has been documented, along with significant insect pests like the pomegranate fruit borer, green aphid, and bugs. The results indicate that these pests lead to substantial losses in yield and reduce its quality, posing a significant challenge for farmers. The research has highlighted the importance of adopting integrated practices to combat these pests, including the use of biological and organic pesticides, improving irrigation and fertilization methods, and continuous monitoring of agricultural diseases.EN_en
