Cochineal white is one of the serious pests that attack date palms. The study was conducted to compare and evaluate the effectiveness of plant-derived biological pesticides against Parlatoria blanchardi in the Ghardaia region (Algerian Sahara). We used botanical extracts from three plants, Citrullus colocynthis Schard. (Cucrubitacea) Pergularia temntosa L (Asclepiadaceae) anxiety, Datura stramonium (Solanaceae) in the laboratory acacia, in five doses of 10 mg/ml, 20 mg/ml, 30 mg/ml, 40 mg/ml and 50mg/ml, it was found that D. stramonium and C. colocynthis plant extracts have higher insect control potential compared to P. tomentosa at a dose of 40 mg/ml and 50 mg/ml, The death rates after 24 hours respectively reached 99.3%, 97.45% and 97.36% when using a solvent (acetone), and 92.93%, 88.23% and 99.06% when using a solvent (ethanol). Between these two solvents, the effect was Acetone has a higher effect than ethanol. On the other hand, the effectiveness of concentrations was evaluated to eliminate 50% and 90% of insects. The plant extract D. stramonium was the most toxic when solvent was ethanol, and when solvent acetone was the plant extract C. colocynthis was the most toxic at the lethal dose 50% and at the lethal dose 90% D. stramonium plant extract is the most toxic compared to other extractsEN_en
