Abstract: This study was conducted in the El-Goléa region from November 2023 to March 2024 with the aim of inventorying stored food pests. We selected three study stations: the Mahmoud Hadjedj farm, containing dates, the CCLS El-Goléa station, containing cereals and dried vegetables, and a point-of-sale station, also containing cereals. and bagged vegetables. Samples were taken randomly, and the insect pests were identified in the laboratory after incubation using determination keys. We observed the presence of a single pest for rice (Rhyzopertha dominica), with an infestation rate of 58.3%. Similarly for beans (Bruchus rufimanus), the infestation rate was 66.67%. The weight of the beans, varied between 0.81g and 3.06g, but this variation had no effect on the infestation rate. Regarding the infestation rate of dates, it was approximately 57%. Biometric measurements of dates showed lengths between 32.0mm and 45.6mm, widths, between 12.8mm and 21.6mm, and weights between 3.1g and 5.8g. These measurements did not affect the infestation of dates by the moth (Ectomyelois ceratoniae). Similarly, no reported between these biometric measurements and the infestation rate of dates by Boufaroua (Oligonychus afrasiaticus).
