Abstract

لم يظهر بلاد السودان ولم يبرز للعلن وللوجود إلا بعد وصول الإسلام إليه ويعود الفضل لانتشار الإسلام واللغة في غرب افريقيا فيو، يقينا وبالدرجة الأولى بوصول الدعاة والتجار اب٤غاربة إليو، وكان ب٥م الدور الكببّ في ذلك، ولم يكن تأثبّ التجار اب٤غاربة من ناحية الدين واللغة فقط، بل تعدى ذلك إلى تأثر السودانيبْ للمعتقدات واب٤ذاىب الرائجة في بلاد اب٤غرب آنذاك وفي مقدمتها اب٤ذىب اب٤الكي، وىذا الأخبّ كان وصولو مرتبط بوصول الإسلام إليو وبٲثل ىذا اب٤ذىب الى اليوم الركيزة البٍ توحد ببْ بلاد السودان الغربي وجنوب الصحراء وبلاد اب٤غاربة بالرغم من الاختلاف الفكري والأحوال السياسية لكل منهم فكان النصيب الأكبر للأخذ بو من قبل سكان غرب افريقياThe Sudan region did not appear or come to prominence until the arrival of Islam. The credit for the spread of Islam and language in West Africa is undoubtedly due, primarily, to the arrival of Maghrebian preachers and merchants to it. They played a major role in this. The influence of Maghrebian merchants was not limited to religion and language, but went beyond that to the influence of the Sudanese on the beliefs and schools of thought prevalent in Maghreb at that time, including the Maliki school of thought. The arrival of this school was linked to the arrival of Islam, and it represents the cornerstone that unites the Sudan, south of the Sahara, and Maghrebian today, despite the ideological differences and political circumstances of each of them. The Maliki school has been the most widely adopted by the people of West Africa.
