Abstract: The waste landfill is a complex designed to recover and treat waste without causing environmental pollution, knowing that it is the oldest and most successful method for waste treatment. The Bouhraoua landfill in the Ghardaïa region is of vital energy, environmental and economic importance, and consists of several ponds to receive all kinds of waste for milking and recycling. The evaluation of the obvious consequences of the Technical Landfill Center (TLC) on the economy and the bordering society in the strict and broad sense has to do with the notion of sustainable development and respect for the environment. We have the opportunity to establish companies of field outings to the TSC and the Management Institution of the Technical Landfill Centers of the Ghardaïa State (MITLCGS), we have found that the collection and waste sorting process is done daily by huge and large quantities in a dedicated area (sortingzone). From the energy and socio-economic point of view, the quantities are constantly increasing, since 2011, when the quantities of waste measured were 10798,2014 tonnes passing through the year 2016 the quantities of registered waste become 47138,65 tonnes up to 2018 whose estimated waste quantities are over 72490.69 tonnes. These quantities of waste collected can provide by the best energy methods to exploit these gases in the heat or electricity production, on the other hand, in the agricultural field, operations to bury this waste in the agricultural soil promotes perfect soil fertility.
