The cultivation of olive trees (oil and table) is witnessing a remarkable development in the desert regions, including the Ménia region, which is known for its agricultural potential (water and soil). This culture, which takes place intensively in development areas, must benefit from good phytosanitary protection in order to obtain a good production both in quantity and quality. For this, diagnosing the health status of olive groves is essential for the effective management of any diseases and pests that may be present. This is the aim of our study of field surveys through olive farms in the El Ménéa region in order to identify the pests and to know the control practices (preventive and curative) carried out by the farmers and based on this observation, to propose measures to improve the phytosanitary coverage of these farms.EN_en
