Abstract: | This work was carried out in the region Hassi El Touil (Ghardaïa), focused on the estimate of infestation rate by Tuta absoluta Meryrk on tomato under greenhouse. Of which we obtained the following results: During the four weeks of prospecting and by the use of pheromone traps has shown an increasing evolution of the numbers of adults captured by these traps, where the conditions of temperature and humidity favor the development of T. absoluta. In the studied greenhouse we met 4 larval stages. The nymphal stage was not observed. The infestation rate varies according to the four sorties and the stage with a maximum on the upper stage which shows an affinity of T. absoulta to move towards young leaves. Also, a variability of infestation rate according to the position of plants sampled where the important attack is located in the middle of the greenhouse and more or less weak the two adjacent positions, indicates that T. absoluta like the other Arthropods harmful to crops, has a preferendium to concentrate in the middle of the greenhouse. Which, we recommend the cultivation practice of a good aeration of the greenhouses which will generate a diminution of attack of this pest. |
