Abstract: Agriculture at Zelfana (W. Ghardaïa) is facing various phytosanitary problems. We conducted surveys to study these problems, with the aim of contributing to the knowledge of the constraints of production in this area . The surveys were conducted at 14 farmers, spread over 4 agricultural perimeters in the study area. The results show that the main problem that causes significant damage, which can go as far as the total destruction of the harvest is the Boufaroua (Fusarium oxysporumf) The other pests encountered are the date moth (Ectomyelois ceratoniae, ZELLER) and the white cochineal (Parlatoria blanchardi, TARG). For diseases, we found the presence of Khamdj disease, caused by a fungus (Mauginiella Scaettae). On the other hand, several species of weeds have been recorded, namely, Quackgrass (Cynodon dactylon) and Seagrass (Juncus maritimus). Knowledge of these problems is essential in order to ensure an efficient and effective control. improve production conditions
