dc.description.abstractIn this study, it was put to the test the recipe for Grandma to make her place it deserves. We tried to demonstrate that natural cosmetics are beneficial and less risky compared to chemicals and tested traditional recipes are the best, despite their limited allergic effect. They are both remedy and makeup. This study was conducted in the region of Ghardaïa, the survey of herbalists, beauticians, older women, women and girls craft of the local population. The survey consists of an inventory of traditional cosmetics based on dates; two parts of the plant are used in recipes, the nuclei with a rate of 60%, fruits with 40%. As regards the mode of preparation, the powder form dominates with a rate of 60%, the infusion form with 40%. The results also showed that the El Atteuf communion is the most dominant region with a rate of 29% and that the age group most concerned is that of 35 years with a ˃ rate of 64% and finally the dominant recipe is that of khol with a rate of 65%.EN_en
