Abstract: This study aims to put a typology of veterinary waste, follow the waste from their products to final treatment and disposal; to see their impact on human health and the environment. Waste veterinary clinics represent waste from animal care activities. Veterinary activities generate an increasing amount of waste. Our work consists on study contribution to the current situation of the management and treatment of waste veterinary cases of the common Metlili. We study and follow 12 investigated peoples distributed on four class veterinarians, veterinary inspectors, secretaries and veterinary aid public and private sectors. After the results analysis we have drawn the following: - For the large quantities of waste produced by veterinary clinics: 69% of empty packaging of medications and 30% are unused or expired medications. - For the removal of veterinary waste, 71% of respondents perform incineration, while 29% dispose of their waste in communal garbage. The future of veterinary waste is widely prescribed fire represent 53%, 18% landfill, 17% and 12% communal trash storage.
