This work consists of analyzing the soil and water of Lake Dayet Oum Souid located in the region of El Mansoura. This wetland, despite its ecological and socio-economic importance, is poorly known and located in an isolated area. This study aims to show the value of this lake, to know the lithology and to map this site. To reach our goal we proceeded to the establishment of vertical profiles of 90 cm deep and longitudinal sections using these profiles, the analysis of soil and water and the drawing up of maps for this lake. Observations on the train showed a clay-silty texture soil granulometric analyzes revealed a loamy sandy-clayey texture physico-chemical analyzes gave: a medium alkaline and strongly alkaline soil pH for water, a conductivity high electric for soil (salty) and slightly alkaline for water, medium organic matter content, low oxygen content and low, low to medium total limescale. This allowed us to identify part of the Lake Dayet Oum Souid.EN_en
