New innovations in education have been introduced as a result of technological advancements. There are a variety of technology devices available today that can be used to aid teaching and meet the needs of students. As a result, it is up to the instructor to decide whether or not to use current techniques in his work rather than relying on the chalkboard and chalk. The goal of this research is to shed light on the role of educational technology and its significance in EFL teaching and learning. It aims to investigate the most often utilized technology instruments. To create this work, a case study was undertaken at Ghardaia University, primarily in the English department, with the sample population consisting of thirty EFL students. Data was collected using a questionnaire that was sent to the students. The information gathered was examined quantitatively. Students alike embrace the use of educational technology, according to the study's findings. The students, on the other hand, believed that using it would be extremely beneficial to them. Furthermore, they all acknowledged the value of educationaltechnology and agreed that it plays an important part in the EFL teaching and learning process.EN_en
