Abstract: This study aims to find the relationship between self-efficacy and the quality of life for diabetic patients through answering the following question: Is there any relationship between self-efficacy and quality of life for diabetic patients? The research will also seek to address the following questions: 1. Are there any statistically significant differences in self-efficacy according to the gender among diabetic patients? 2. Are there any statistically significant differences in quality of life according to the gender among diabetic patients? To carry out this research, this study is investigated by using the descriptive method as it is more appropriate to conduct a descriptive and exploratory research. We chose a random sample contain of 30 people from different ages between 18 and 65 years old and also different genders (male/ female) which the latter is the variable of our study. We also used self-efficacy and quality of life scale; the data was analyzed by SPSS and the results were as following: There is a statistically functional relationship between self-efficacy and quality of life for diabetic patients. There are a statistically significant differences in the level of self-efficacy according to the gender for diabetic patients. There are a statistically significant differences in the level of quality of life according to the gender for diabetic patients.
