Abstract: The present study aims at investigating the relationship between recognizing the familial atmosphere and its relevance to the positive social behaviour of teenagers in the open milieu of Metlili، Gharadia، via knowing the nature of considering the teenager’s familial atmosphere ، the level of the positive social behaviour، and knowing the discrepancies in all variables with regard to gender. To investigate the study hypotheses، we utilized the descriptive approach and adopted the measure of considering the familial atmosphere and the measure of positive social behaviour of the doctor Ben Ktila Fatiha. Then، we applied it، after estimating the psychometrical characteristics، to a sample of 36 in the open milieu of Metlili، Ghardaia. After treating the data of the present study and using the suitable statistical methods، the following results were arrived at: 1- Negative familial atmosphere perception of the sample under study 2- Low level of positive social behaviour of the sample under study 3- A relationship of a statistical significance the perceived atmosphere and the positive social behaviour 4- Discrepancies of a statistical significance in perceiving the familial atmosphere، due to the variable of gender 5- Discrepancies of a statistical significance in the positive social behaviour due to the variable of gender.
