Les instances sociohistoriques d’une vie des Juifs en Algérie dans Le dernier juif de Tamentit d’Amin Zaoui

Abstract

Nombreux ont été les écrivains algériens qui ont traité la question de l’Histoire algérienne, mais peu ceux qui ont traité l’Histoire d’une vie des Juifs en Algérie à coté les indigènes de pays. Le roman Le dernier juif de Tamentit, d’Amin Zaoui, qui s’inscrit dans le champ de la littérature algérienne contemporaine, détourne le lecteur vers XVème siècle afin de lui offrir une image qui fait polémique sur la civilisation et la situation sociale et économique des Juifs en Algérie au Moyen Age. Au cours de cette recherche, on a opté pour une étude sociohistorique afin d’appréhender les vérités historiques et sociales des Juifs en Algérie, évoquées dans ce roman, qu’ils soient des évènements, des personnages, des pratiques sociaux et religieuses des Juifs du Maghreb, etc. comme nousdégageons l’aspect imaginaire de l’auteur. Summary Many Algerian writers have dealt with the question of Algerian history, but few have treated the history of a life of the Jews in Algeria alongside the natives of the countries. The novel The Last Jew of Tamentit, by Amin Zaoui, which falls within the field of contemporary Algerian literature, diverts the reader towards the 15th century in order to offer him an image that is controversial on civilization and the social and economic situation.Jews inAlgeria in the Middle Ages. During this research, we opted for a socio-historical study in order to understand the historical and social truths of the Jews in Algeria, evoked in this novel, whether they are events, characters, social and religious practices of Jews in Algeria. Maghreb, etc. as we bring out the imaginary aspect of the author.
