The current study aims to identify the nature of the relationship between psychological stress and emotional intelligence among students of the final class in the state of Ghardaia, and also aims to reveal the level of each of these two variables in addition to trying to find significant differences due to the gender variable. The study was applied to a sample of 100 students, 66 females and 34 males, so that the descriptive approach was relied on in the correlative method, as we used the psychological stress scale for: BOUREZMA Mekioussa (2013-2014) and the emotional intelligence scale for: BELKACEM Mohamed (2013-2014). After processing the data and data with the help of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS. V20) and by applying a set of statistical methods, we concluded that there is no statistically significant relationship between psychological stress and emotional intelligence, that both the level of psychological stress and the degrees of emotional intelligence are average in the study sample and that there is no statistically significant differences in the relationship between the level of psychological stress and emotional intelligence among the final class students, which in turn are attributed to the gender variable.EN_en
