East Morocco had witnessed a boom in the intellectual side in most of its prominent capitals. Bejaia and Telemcen were two of them who were no less important than the urban and cultural centers of the Islamic Maghreb. This flourish was due to the role of educational institutions which were full of scientists and scholars and their rich intellectual production. The educational system in Bejaia and Telemcen was not different in terms of institutions, curriculum and stages involved in education. This was the result of cultural exchange and many other factors common in the two capitals.EN_en
