The Islamic law (Shariaa) took care of animals from all sides and in particular protecting him from harm. caused by human being so the Quran came with the reason why god created these animals and honoring them. The Quran warned human being from hurting these magnificent creatures and ordered him to benefice from them and gave her protection and the care she needs, based on these orders the positive law made by humans seek to achieve it, that is why my study aimed at comparing between the Algerian law and the Islamic law (Shariaa) concerning the protection of animals and finding the compatibility between the two laws. In order to achieve these goalsa descriptive analytical approach was adopted and we came through this study that the Algerian legislator enacted some laws that provide protection for animals.EN_en
