Abstract: The title of the research is : The jurisprudential choices of Imam Battal in which he contradicted the doctrine through his explanation Sahih al-Bukhari -The book of Sales-. Praise be to Allah، Lord of the Worlds، and peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad، his family and companions. Due to Ibn Battal's high scientific status and the importance of his book، Sharh Saheeh Al-Bukhari، this research is concerned with the statement his jurisprudential choices and studying them in the book of sales from explanation. At the beginning of the research I presented the life of Imam Ibn Battal، in which i dealt with his social life and the circumstances he experienced the barbaric strife، and then i dealt with his personal life from his birth، origin، his doctrine، his most important elders and his works. Then، in first section، I presented his choices in selling and option، including ruling of selling weapons in sedition، and with what the dispersion in council option falls into and the ruling on disposing of the sale during it. the second section، I mentioned the issues related to the inapprehensible foods، including the sale of food before catching it، and the ruling on selling the dog and selling what comes abdomen after abdomen، such watermelon. The total number of studied issues was 12، ending with the conclusion of the most important results and recommendations. One of them was : Battal was a diligent and well-informed person، adhering to the principles of Imam Malik's doctrine. God is the Arbiter of Success
