Abstract: This study sought to shed light on the recycling of industrial waste as a mechanism to protect the environment and to obtain the ISO 14001 standard in Algeria. In order to achieve the objectives of this study, the researcher used the descriptive approach. To describe the phenomenon under study, analyze its data, and know the relationship between its components and the effects it has. The study population consists of workshops and factories working in the field of industrial waste recycling in Algeria. In the interview, which included five 05 institutions active in the field of industrial waste recycling, 392 questionnaires were distributed to the study population and 96 questionnaires were retrieved from them. The study concluded several results, the most important of which is; that the industrial waste recycling mechanism is a key focus in protecting the environment, and IV supports the achievement of sustainability, then the obtaining of ISO 14001 standard translates the adoption of the environmental orientation. And among our recommendations are to support circular economy activities by providing administrative facilities, in addition to tightening control mechanisms to implement deterrent legislation and environmental taxes In addition supporting institutions active in the field of circular economy to obtain the ISO 14001 standard.
