مختصر شرح شذور الذهب في معرفة كلام العرب لشهاب الدّين أحمد بن محمد المحلي (ت844هـ)

Abstract

شهاب الدين أحمد بن محمد المحلي شافعي المذهب، من فطاحل علماء النحو العربي، تتلمذ على يد كبار علماء عصره، أخذالنحو من مختلف المذاهب النحوية ولم يتعصب لأحدها،غيرأنه تأثر بابن هشام الأنصاري فجعله يختصر أحد كتبه النحوية تبسيطا وتيسيرا لطلاب العلم. حاولنا في هذا البحث التعريف بهذا العالم الجهبذ وآثاره العلمية، والذي لم يحظ بترجمة كافية في كتب التراجم والسير. قسمنا البحث إلى قسمين: قسم الدراسة والذي عرجنا فيه على الكتاب الأصل "شرح شذور الذهب"ومصنفه "ابن هشام" ثم المختصر ومؤلفه، وقسم التحقيق وهو القسم الذي خرجنا فيه المتن كما أراده صاحبه. Abstract: Shihab al-Din Ahmad ibn Mohammad al-Mahalli, a Shafi'i by school of thought, was one of the foremost scholars of Arabic grammar. He studied under the leading scholars of his era and learned grammar from various grammatical schools without showing bias toward any particular one. However, he was greatly influenced by Ibn Hisham al-Ansari, to the extent that he abridged one of Ibn Hisham’s grammatical works, simplifying and facilitating it for students of knowledge. In this research, we have attempted to introduce this eminent scholar and his scholarly contributions, as he has not received sufficient biographical coverage in the books of biographies and historical accounts.This research is divided into two sections: - The study section, in which we discussed the original book "Sharh Shudhur al-Dhahab" and its author "Ibn Hisham" as well as the abridged version and its author. - The critical edition section, in which we presented the text as intended by its author.
